Yudong J Wang moved to the United States from China when he was 15 years old. During this episode, he reflects on how both Chinese and American cultures shaped his understanding of sexuality and gender expression. Yudong also analyzes how the racism he experienced growing up in Alabama wasn’t so different from the racism he experiences within the LGBTQ community in New York City.
